Judging from the way the suspension of work on the car, the suspension system can be divided into independent suspension, non-independent suspension (dependent) as well as semi-independent suspension.
Car Suspension Independent
Independent suspension is a suspension system that allows the car's wheel up and down to follow the road surface without affecting the opposite wheel. Example of an independent suspension system is a Double Wishbone, MacPherson Strut and Multi-Link.
Car Suspension Dependent (Non-Independent)
The suspension of this type typically use a solid axle to hold the wheel. Examples of the suspension is dependent per leaf. Compared with an independent suspension system, the suspension is dependent models such as leaf springs are stiffer and make the ride comfort is somewhat lacking. MacPherson Strut Suspension System
